Making a house in the hills is very different from making a home in the hills… Joie De Vivre is a home. And you feel that with every breath, every glance and every touch. You can visualise happy families huddled near the fireplace, excited cackles wafting out into the nippy night.
Beautiful and awestruck property surrounded by serene nature… The place is extremely neat, clean, and peaceful — perfect for a relaxing staycation. Special thanks to Naresh, the cook and caretaker… His healthy and delicious food truly feels homely.
This was our second stay at Joie de Vivre in Mukteshwar, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The property is beautifully located amidst serene hills and forest, far from the usual tourist crowd… Reema, the owner, was warm and helpful—she suggested some nice trekking spots and local places to eat.
The best place to stay in Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand… Every room has been carefully curated and tastefully done… They even do Barbeque with Veg and Non veg freshly sourced food from the local market.
We stayed for 11 days at Joie de Vivre and it was all the things we needed .. a break , a staycation, a quiet time , a home away from home… If you are looking for a home to stay and work or even relax in , this is the place !
There are so many things to love about the property, the Attic room, glass room, ample sunlight in the rooms with glass ceiling, rustic interior, lawn outside the cottage, board games, books and above all peace and tranquility.
We had a fantastic experience staying at Joie de Vivre homestay. Starting from the home cooked food, to the cosy tastefully done interiors and ofcourse the fantastic surroundings made our short but sweet stay memorable.
